Our journey began with a simple yet ambitious idea: to bring Amsterdam club quality into a village area called IJmond. We kick-started our mission by hosting an unforgettable night at De Bakkerij in Castricum, featuring Prunk, Artmann, and EMYN. This event blended dance music with an intimate ambiance, setting the stage for what was to be expected in the future.

In the following year, we ventured into Beverwijk, hosting secret church raves in an eighteenth-century church. What started with just a small gathering soon evolved into a yearly tradition. Our first gathering drew just 50 enthusiasts, but it eventually evolved into a yearly ritual, attracting up to 600 passionate partygoers.

With several successful events under our belt, we achieved a significant milestone by welcoming De Sluwe Vos to Heemskerk for another unforgettable night. Resident DJs Artmann and Romaino set the stage on fire before De Sluwe Vos, freshly arriving from DGTL Festival, delivered a performance etched in our memories.

Our journey continued to evolve as we ventured into the festival realm. The iconic North Sea Venue, also known as Hemkade, transformed into a playground for our very first festival, uniting house and techno enthusiasts on a perfect day, surrounded by a sea of beautiful people.

ENIGMA is built on a foundation of authenticity, where we pay homage to the roots of the scene by creating an original club atmosphere in unconventional locations. Inclusivity is at our core, fostering a culture that embraces individuality, diversity, and self-expression, uniting people without judgment through the power of music. We celebrate playfulness, recognizing that the house scene is a celebration of life itself, where joy, spontaneity, and a sense of wonder are valued. Unity defines our purpose, as we seek genuine connections between artists, music, and the audience, transforming the dance floor into a sanctuary for self-discovery and expression.
